This is a follow-up to a pretty old issue that I've come across a while ago - seems that you can't use h-e-n to connect a USB CD-ROM drive to your N900 because kernel-power lacks the necessary kernel modules for that (namely sr_mod.ko, cdrom.ko, sg.ko), so if you connect these they get identified but unusable (BTW the original USB host kernel shipped with early versions of h-e-n did include them).
Back then I couldn't get these modules included in kernel-power because no-one was taking care of the package back then (Titan has already retired) so I recompiled kernel-power 46 with the modules and sent it to whoever asked.
Fortunately now kernel-power is again being maintained, by pali. This is excellent news for everyone obviously, but I'd really like to avoid having to recompile kernel-power every time a new version shows up.
So basically, pali, this is a request for you to include the CD-ROM modules in the main power kernel tree from now.
Thanks!
