I then killed the app (with swipe down), and tried again, thinking I could just use the credit card option, but now the Store app doesn't work at all. I can start the Store app, and after about ten seconds, it fails with "Store not responding, Close application ?".
I've rebooted the device, and still the same behaviour - can anyone shed any light on this behaviour, and perhaps advise a way I can make it work again ? Is there a configuration file somewhere I can poke around in. Why does it still fail after a reboot - it must have saved its state somewhere - where might this file be ?
I had used the carrier bill option successfully before, probably on PR1.0. I am now on PR1.2
The carrier is Telstra (Australia).
Is there a backdoor way of installing apps other than through the store ? [it was the Personal Web Server app I was attempting to install]
Many thanks for any advice ...
