It's been a while... Anyway.

If you have lagging video, maybe this could help, as I just solved this issue in one of my N900s.

I have been running CSS-Thumb on KP52, and most of the time I would play a video in kmplayer, it would play with cyclical lags. Meaning that the image would slow down, then ramp up every 1 or 1 1/2 seconds. I suspected it had to do with CPU management, but couldn't figure out the exact problem. SmartReflex didn't make any difference. But finally I found a solution: Set the minimum frequency to 500Mhz.

So now I have a profile with Min Freq 500, Max Freq 805, and SR enabled. No lags of any kind.

Also, my N900 used to be very unstable before, and it would reboot sometimes after a very intensive task made the phone unresponsive. I guess the watchdog will do that (I think it sets the /proc/bootreason string to soft_rst or something similat when that happens).

If you have similar problems, try this approach.

I'm guessing that maybe this N900's CPU has some problem at the lower frequencies.
