Hallo,
1. My lovely N800 stopped booting. From reading everything I could find I believe this is the drained battery problem.
2. I don't have an available Linux, so I rather use the Windows tools, and I rather install the new os2008 beta version Nokia provided.
3. Everywhere it is written to start flashing when I have a full battery. BUT - my main problem is a dead battery. How does it fit together ?

Please help, point me for my mistakes, etc.

Regards,
Shushu

1) Start the flashing tool, so that it will flash the device whenever it is connected
2) connect the _powered_off_ device to the pc through the usb cable
3) plug in and don't remove the charger
4) when the flashing is complete unplug the usb cable

Thanks for the response, but...
1. I do get the USB icon on the n800, but the wizard does not acknowledge it...
2. Now I think my problem does not fit to the battery issue. It is more of a LD problem like this. Does anybody encounter such a problem on n800 at all ?
3. Do you think this is something that can be solved by new OS ?
4. How do I proceed with warranty issues - a friend bought this n800 for me in the States few weeks ago...

Regards,
Shushu
