My 770's 3.5 mm audio port is a bit broken as I have to bend the plug so that I can hear the music as stereo otherwise I can only hear only the other channel.

Is it possible to open the 770 so that I could bend the audio port connectors back to the original state? I was able to open the three Torx screws from the bottom of the case (one inside the battery hatch) but that didn't help anything.

Any ideas?

I managed to open the case but I was neither able to fix it as the jack was quite well boxed up as you can see from this photo:

Hi, yesterday I was trying to open my 770. I saw instructions
http://www.uselessinfo.pwp.blueyonde...mantlen770.htm
but I am stuck at step 8. The cover simply cannot be removed. I did unscrew 5 screws but it still holds tight. I can make small cracks all around but it won't go apart and I am afraid of breaking it. Are these instructions OK or is there something missing? When the part around audio and usb connectors is removed, before step 8 or after?

Also are some steps optional? I want to get to MMC slot so I don't really need to remove cover A on the display side (if possible).
