I think this is a bloody good idea, so I emailed them directly to scope out if it was likely to happen for our little community... the response is below:
"Hi Stewart -
We've considered this. The Sony directory was built for them under contract, and we'd love to have a similar arrangement with Nokia to build a similar product for them...
So my take on it is it aint gonna be happening any time soon! I know hotspots appear on the bundled map software but its not remotely conclusive (in Oz anyway), so is anyone using an alternative method they could share, or is anyone working on an open source solution???? <fingers crossed>
