I have the sources from the site below, which I am trying to compile on my N800 with no success. can someone help me with that? or if someone have a compiled version, can they post it in Maemo or post here.?

http://www.arabeyes.org/project.php?proj=Quran

I am actually missing the libraries to compile it.

When I run the ./configure I get the following error(s)
configure: error: cannot find install-sh or install.sh in . ./.. ./../..

I think I am missing the following libs.
1. ibspeex
2. libogg
3. autoconf_2.61-4_all
4. automake1.6_1.6.3-12_all
5. autotools-dev_20070725.1_all
6. perl
7. m4
8. debianutils

and maybe more, because I got stuck on compiling at step 1. which is libquran 0.3

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks,

In addition to some other problems there is the fundamental one that it needs the QT widget set while the N800 UI is built around GTK+ w/Hildon. Now, some people have actually ported some of the QT stuff to the N800, but it's not going to be straight forward. You're also saying that you're compiling on the N800.. normally you would compile in a scratchbox environment on a Debian-based Linux PC (or a VMware equivalent), not on the N800.

Yes, I was compiling it on N800, I just read another article which explains that how to create a scratchbox environment on a VMWare.

I will definitely try that one and post back.

And it will definitely take some time, is it possible can someone who have that setup ready, can compile those codes and post it here.

I will really appreciate this help.

Thanks once again.
