I've mentioned ProClip mounts before, but this time I really went overboard.

Also: That N800 mount is exclusive to them and it kicks the pants off the one that ships with the N800 NavKit.

What are your thoughts on the car mount that comes with the N810 (Nokia Car Holder CR-89)?

LurkerN, I adapted my N810 car holder to a flexible suction-cup anchored stalk I bought at Best Buy and the combo is awesome!

When I have time I'll post some photo, but I made myself a car holder for my n800 with a scrap piece of pvc, a hot hair gun and a strip of velcro.
Cost almost 0 and it fits almost perfectly in my car.

ProClips are damn nice, I've got one in my car for my N95.

I was gonna use duct tape and a clothes hanger, but the wife failed to see the beauty.

Puh-leease! Only chewing gum and paperclips are allowed for a true McGyver solution.

Oh, and it has to explode as well...

Hey, I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I don't want to brag, but my self made holder is nice and tidy, and I think it's much better for my car than the commercial offerings.
I hope tomorrow I'll find some time to take photos.
