I can't seem to find this info anywhere - all the screenshots of surfing the web on these things has 1/3'd of the screen chopped up with status, location bar, and navigation bar. Yuk!

So, does anyone with one know?

Thanks!

No, there's no 100% full screen mode in it. The bottom bar always stays. I'd criticize it, but then again, there are people who start yelling or start comparing if somebody criticizes The Perfect Device, so better not to say more.

I think the address bar scrolls along with the page itself.

Yick. That's one nice thing about the IT's - the Full-Screen button! Very forward thinking when they did that.

Well, I generally think that there are better ways to handle full screen than having a dedicated HW button. Most applications do not need full screen, after all.

I think the main "better way" is to start streamlining web pages (content AND page size). When I access a page (like CNN's) that has to download 130 or so objects, then IMO some sort of leap into Bizarro World has been made...
