I finally got a new install of andLinux setup and am trying to download the Chinook 4.0.1 SDK installer script. But it's timing out. Can anyone get there?

Tablets-dev is down, too.

Quim's on it, apparently.

Firstly, is this a transient thing, just wait a few minutes and proceed? Or keep on trying or wait for some formal Denouncement?

Secondly, the /www.gronmayer.com/it/ is NOW up (thank god!).......at least right now, can I proceed with app install if it is in gronmayer.com? Or they are just a mirror that would tracy back to the SDK and in trouble?

Rat...........

Gronmayer doesn't mirror anything. It only provides definitions of the repositories and information on what is in them.

gronmayer is just an index, it doesn't actually host any files. We're waiting on a status update to find out what's wrong. That update will likely come in the bug, so add yourself to the CC list and wait.

Oh well, no tablet app playing for bunanson tonight.......I am afraid I may go into withdrawal...........cold turkey, alternating with sweat, sneeze, profuse emisis/saliva..........Dont worry, just copy from the movie "Things we lost in the fire 2007." - good nite, everybody.

Heh heh.

Not only do I save all packages downloaded via Application Manager's cache on my N800, I also downloaded the entire Chinook and Bora trunks of repository.maemo.org a few weeks ago ... over 2 GB of NIT files!
