Hi there,
we just launched this week the Maemo-Myth(tv) application. It is a Mythtv frontend for N800. With it you can watch livetv in the N800 and watch recorded programs. This post tells a little more about this topic:

Other things are coming.... Give it a try.

I discovered that the software used to watch the matches also works on LINUX,
so i thouht maybe someone could port it to the n800???
here is the link: http://www.sopcast.referencias.tv/
and look fot the "SopCast 1.0.2 Commandline Version for Linux."
