hallo!
Thanks from vienna to the great N770 community.
It is possible to connect two N770 together via Bluetooth or Wlan -in the ad hoc modus ?

I haven't tried it nokia to nokia, but I know you can put one of them into device mode with sobexsrv, and from there you should be able to transfer files easily.

Or - maybe make one a bluetooth OBEX server!

You can connect two of them together using wifi ad-hoc, no problem. None of the apps that ship on the phone will be _useful_ in that mode, but it can be done.

Some instant messaging programs support IP Zeroconf. If you found a zeroconf file transfer program, that would be perfect.

Zeroconf is a standard for configuring IP networks and services without any actual central server. Programs can broadcast information about themselves, identifying what services they offer.
