I'm using the OS2008 beta on an N800. I've been trying to follow the instructions for Cloning OS to SD. I'm having trouble with creating a partition following post #49.

Twice I've mucked my card up and had to reformat using the file manager.

The steps seem easy enough. Here's an example.
Code:
#sfdisk /dev/mmcblk0 -uM

/dev/mmcblk0p1: 0,300,06
/dev/mmcblk0p2: ,,,
/dev/mmcblk0p3:
/dev/mmcblk0p4:
But I couldn't access the card because it was in use. So I had to unmount the SD first.
Code:
umount /media/mmc2
I'm using an 8GB card, so I changed the mmcblk0p1 value to "0,6800,0C". Everything seems to work OK, but on reboot, the card is not accessible. The instructions say it works for OS2008, but I'm not sure. I'm stuck on step 5. Perhaps I should format the card on my XP tablet, but I'm not sure I can do ext2 on windows.
