Does anyone know of a units converter for the Internet Tablet? You know, one that does metric to imperial and all that other jazz? It was one of the more useful applets on my Newton.

Well, eventually: yes, of course. But right now I'd prefer to get a result in less than half an hour <evil grin>.

I realize this is an old thread, but I was also looking for a "unit converter" application that I could run offline. Since OS2008 finally supports Flash applications, I went searching again, and I found one!

Flash Unit Converter

The zip archive has both the .html and .swf file, but you really only need the .swf file. Place "unit_conv.swf" somewhere accessible by the File Manager, and open it. It should automatically open in a new browser window. It's not the most full-featured unit converter around, but it does seem to work okay.

I'm still hoping that somebody creates a hildonized unit converter. MathJinni has a tab for "Unit Conv", but it says "Coming soon!". Oh well.
