Hello,

I just recently upgraded to OS 2008 because I saw how well the transition happened with the 2007 OS and was impressed at how many apps were ready right away.

However, now I went and added all of the repositories that are available and when I ran the download, I get an error message about the app manager having "Failed" to find anything.

Apparently, there are zero apps available for the 2008 OS, or is this just some kind of a flaw in the App Manager?

Does anyone know why the App Manager can't find ANY programs to download at all? I have almost 20 repositories loaded, and I stayed away from the 770 versions, too.

Please help?

And thank you.

It turns out I didn't know that the "BORA" repositories were no good for this version. We have to use CHINOOK. They are found here:

Now I will go clean out all of my repositories, and re-install CHINOOK ones, and the problem is now solved. Thanks.

EDIT: Please disregard the below. I didn't see the last post in this thread.

Look at the log for Application Manager in "Tools -> Log..."
Did it fail to download any lists? Also, applications made for 2007OS aren't compatible with 2008OS. So if you added any repositories made for 2007OS or that have the word "bora" in them, they won't really help you.
