i just buy the n800, just 28 hours i thing... i get online on a friend work, but not on my other friend home, 2 different signals but nothing... and here at my home i can see my MacBook signal (i'm sharing my internet connection using my mac as access point) and i can't get online!!!!

can anyone help me on this?

HO!!! and by the way... i really want to buy the Motorola S9 headphones... but i dont know if they gonna work with the n800 (2 speakers sound)... cuz i try it with my Nokia N60 and just get 1 speaker sound...

AND!!! please sorry for my english... primary language is spanish...

Bug #2478 addresses this issue. I believe it's actually a problem with the DHCP serving on OS X (I haven't had much success in the past sharing wifi from my various Apple machines to any non-Apple machines).

Setting up a static IP on the N800 may or may not work for you. I don't recall what the default IP scheme for OS X's internet sharing is, though (I [i]think[i] it's a 10.x.x.x deal). A Google search will probably turn something up (if not specifically for maemo).

A2DP is what you need for the headphones. The answer right now is: Yes and No. There's a couple threads in these forums discussing the issue. A search for A2DP should bring them up for you.

i know that out there are a nerd army (and nerds rocks!!!) trying to make everything all mighty for the nokias tablets, and now i know that there's a problem with the mac as host point, but just in case, maybe this help, maybe not... but i'll write it here, cuz i spend a loot of time configuring the mac and the n800 and i get connect to the mac, but without internet... what i did was assign a ip to the airport and then configure the n800, i use the ip on the airport as default rauter and i get it.... i connect using the mac... the bad thing is that i can't get online... maybe i need to configure something... i dont know.... maybe i'm just loosing my time :P but i don't know, maybe this help!
