Alright. I got the N800 for Christmas. It works like a charm, skype, browser, camera, pidgin...

But, when I try to call people on internet call, they can't see me, and vis versa.

Do they need a plugin of some kind?

Thanks,

Michael K

Currently, the only workable video calling solution to people without an IT is the Gizmo Project software. There is a beta Gizmo client for Windows which allow video calls. You will have to install the N800 Gizmo client which you will find in the default repositories.

I tested this between the N800 and a MacBook (with Parallels) and the video from the N800 as seen by the PC was not very good in quality (choppy, blocky). However, the video from the Mac showed up very well on the N800 end.

I know it works between to N800's with GoogleTalk. Never tried it with a PC.
