I installed Modest to use with Gmail IMAP, but I only want the most recent emails to be downloaded/synced, not all 4k emails in my inbox.

When I first installed Modest, I didn't have the "recent emails only" setting set up, so a lot of really old messages got pulled down. I'm afraid to delete those messages in Modest because I don't know if they will also be deleted in Gmail when I next connect, due to it being IMAP.

I basically want to start from scratch--- re-install Modest, set up "recent mail only" -- but it seems that Modest's email files are still on the tablet *someplace* and I can't get rid of them.

Any suggestions?
