Is there any way at all to get RSS Feed Reader on the Home screen to display more items as it used to do in OS2007?

The way it displays feed entries in OS2008 is such a waste of space, and I've noticed that turning auto-scroll on slows the system down noticeable. I've since turned RSS Feed Reader off completely, until someone comes up with an option for it to display items the way it did in OS2007

Not that I'm griping - my N800 works the way I need it to now, but it would be nice to get these things working again

i am finding that omweather and gpe summary widgets slow my system down when they refresh- if you dont have them refresh often then they are not worth having - a catch 22 if there ever was one

That's right. That's why I had omweather for all of.... 2 minutes. After I installed and uninstalled a bunch of stuff, I reflashed for (hopefully) the last time and am pretty much satisfied with the software combination on my iT now. Joy oh joy

Here in California we only have to check the weather every few hours at most. I've never noticed any significant slowdown from Omweather. If it was a factor, I think I'd be just as well off only having it check the weather once or twice a day. But I guess for some of you, Omweather isn't worth having unless you have it checking to see whether it's raining or nighttime every five minutes.
