I've got GPE-Contacts up and running on my N800. Works great. But, I can only delete contacts by doing so one at a time. That can take a LOT of time if I am deleting lots of contacts.

Anyone figure out how to delete multiple contacts (or all contacts) in one step?

I did try uninstalling GPE-Contacts and installing it again. All the old contacts were still there.

open an xterm;

Code:
cd /home/user/.gpe
mv contacts contacts.bak
if you want delete it completely, replace the mv .. line with:
Code:
rm contacts

OK - I'm about to show how much of a newbie I am.

How does one open an "xterm"? I assume I need to install an xterm application. Where does one get that? This looks like a dos command line command - which I am familiar with.

THANKS in advance.

Oops, looked around a little and found xterminal in the utilities. Worked GREAT. Thanks much.
