can anyone tell me why , when i open an email from the notification and read it, and i delete it but the next time i open my inbox, it is back....also when i delete emails from my inbox they will come back the next time i open the inbox unless i refresh the inbox before i close it. any ideas???

Are you using IMAP or POP?
In IMAP you must move it to the Trash Folder (in Gmail is inside the "Gmail" folder)....guess that in POP is the same case...
Its seems to refresh when you move from folder to folder...
