What is the best video format/file type for videopodcasts, such as Tekzilla for playback on the N800 OS2008 and also which player is the best? I tried a small WMV but it seemed poor quality and choppy in Media Player. Looking for suggestions.

I'd suggest using the same as the video that comes on the N800 or N810--the ad that Nokia made for it that is in the video folder. I should think they know what works 'best', and it would be compatible for most ITs including those who have not DL'd more media players than that which comes with the OS.
It's an .AVI package but I haven't looked more into its innards.

Ok thanks. I was more looking for what format to use that most podcasts puplish, would prefer to not have to do video conversions, etc, just download and play if possible. I figured that so existing format for video podcasts might play well with the N800.

Here are the details of that video:
DivX 6.0, 400 x 240, Millions
MPEG Layer 3, Stereo, 48.000 kHz
25 frames per second
Data rate: 797.64 kbits/s

That's for a great looking video, but one could easily lower the data rate--especially for video without a lot of action.

It seems the smaller Xvid versions work ok in Canola, for Tekzilla at least.
