i used the tutorials at maemo.org to get the NFS features in my N800 with OS2008 working.
Now I have a Synology NAS server at home which is also based on an open Linux System. So I export a couple of NFS shares to my network. All works fine as far. I can mount the various exports in other Linux machines single and same time too.
But here comes my problem: In the N800 I only can mount ONE NFS export a time. If the first is mounted the second mount fails with timeout error!
I have changed the sequence of the NFS exports -> same effect: the second fails !
So I beleave there is something wrong with the NFS mount mechanism within N800. It seems that only one NFS mount is possible at a time.
Has anybody a solution to mount more than one NFS exports ?
I mounted 2 shares, but I didn't follow the tutorial (I suppose it's this one: http://maemo.org/community/wiki/settingupnfs/ for os2008), I just got the modules from fanoush page and, since I didn't know that nfs-utils and portmap were available, I just used the "-o nolock" option (my shares are read-only anyway).
I'll try installing nfs-utils and portmap to see what happens.
