Now THAT was a football game!

I'm really a Dallas Cowboys fan, but with them out I had to root for NY. A truly nail-biting experience tonight!

Being a native Minnesotan, I have a hard time rooting for the Packers. But I was pulling for them this year. I would have liked to see Favre spoil the Pats perfect season. Instead he sealed his own fate.

To tie it to the Internet Tablet. I sat on the sofa here in Berlin Germany (it's 4:30am) and talked to a friend in Minneapolis with my N800 over Skype for most of the second half. Really made the world seem small.

And by the way, there is a 3-5 second delay from what he saw. So when he yells "Interception!!!", I'm just seeing the ball leave the QB's hands.

Ha! That's basically exactly what I did! Only I'm in Frankfurt and you're in Berlin. Close enough!

Did they have the game live in Germany?
Or you had to use slingbox? I wish we have slingbox running on the tablet!

Yeah, it was live. (well, 3-5 seconds delayed)

I didn't even check if the Pats/Chargers were on.

Are there any options out there for TV? Or any decent way to mask your IP address without major compromises on your bandwidth. I always run into websites tracking my IP address to Germany and can't even watch archived video from the US. Sucks. I'd also like to use that 3-month US Skype coupon - but it's kind of worthless with them tracking my IP address.

I'm a Seahawk fan. Since the Packers seem to have the Seahawks number, I loved seeing the Packers and Favre play a crumby game against the Giants. I thought it was sweet poetry that Favre threw an interception in overtime to cost the Packers the game because a very similar play cost the Seahawks a playoff game in Greenbay in 2004. Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck won the toss to get the ball in overtime and proclaimed that the Seahawks wanted the ball and they were going to score. Then he proceeded to throw an interception that cost them the game. Funny how things come around in the other direction sometimes.

The heck with Green Bay-- GIANTS PWNED PATRIOTS!!!

What an exciting finish, too. Yay for the underdog! Boo to Bill Belichick.
