Hi,

I set the device to autolock after 10 mins which worked nicely and also had the effect of making the N800 ask for the lock code upon startup. Then I installed powerlaunch which does not let me ask for the code upon startup.

BTW: This is an new flash with nothing else installed.

Is there any way to resolve this problem?

Thank you.

There have been threads pointing to powerlaunch as the culprit for the "power on-off" problem. Search for more info.

Thanks but I don't have the power on/off problem.

I have a problem that the N800 will not ask me for the lock code upon startup with powerlaunch as mce & systemui would.

Well, the solution lies in editing the powerlaunch config files in /etc/powerlaunch. I'm seeing the same characteristics, and I'm going to try to fix it. Probably by the end of the wwek, depending on time. I'll post back here if I figure it out.

BTW, the powerlaunch documentation is the best I have ever seen for something in such a hack-your-own stage. Between the documentation and the default config, you can get places...

I had to remove powerlaunch . I accidentally reinstalled powerlaunch and it ended up messing up the boot scripts and powerlaunch wouldn't reinstall.

Ah well. From what I know, try enabling the option to not kill mce. mce successfully brings up the lock screen.

Anyway, good luck with this
