Hi guys,

I'm trying to install the various dev packages that can be found in the app manager while in red pill mode, but I'm hitting a few stumbling blocks. The biggest is that a ton of packages conflict with busybox, because of all the symlinks that match the stuff from coreutils. And since lots of the dev packages depend on coreutils, they're left high and dry. Any tips on how to proceed? I would have no problem with replacing the bulk of busybox with coreutils if necessary/possible. I'm booting from an 8 GB card, so space is not an issue here.

I second that. While busybox makes sense when you're really limited to memory (NSLU2 anyone?), 2GB of memory isnt exactly what I'd call "limited" these days.

I too would like to properly install coreutils, procps, bash, unix-tools etc.
