I am trying to get my N800 to get on wifi at work. The problem apparently is that though we have an access point, is not a DHCP server. So all of our computers, wired or wireless, have to have a manually entered IP address. Is there a way to do this on the N800?

Yup. Go to the Connectivity settings, either via the Control Panel, or from the appropriate selection in the little wireless status bar menu. From there, hit the Connections button, and make sure you hit the Advanced button when you see it.
