Is there any sort of app that would emulate something like a Franklin HH dictionary/thesaurus ?

I realize there are many dictionary apps avail for the NIT's, which of them is the best/easiest to use on the 2008OS, and is there any step-by-step guides to explain how/where to get the dictionary files and install them for off-line usage ?

sdict is awesome. I downloaded offline wiki and CIA factbook. fbreader is quite good.
Do a search on here and you will find detailed instructions for both. Dan

sdict is a pain if you have multiple foreign langauge dicts installed, as it doesn't make clear which is which.

mdictionary is better, in theory, and takes stardict files and xmdf (or similar) but has a bug whereby it stops working, frequently. at least for some of us.
