Is it only me and/or the settings of my N810, or is playing videos recorded from a N-Series phone a 'bit' choppy?
I downloaded one vid from N82 (VGA, 30fps) and one from N78 (VGA, 15fps) from mobile-review.com, as I search for a new phone.
Is there any default setting on N810 to say 'half output size', but stretch to full screen, so the CPU must only render for 400x240?
This size shouldn't be a problem, as the phones comes with 320x240 too.

Thanks, greets

I've noticed a similar thing with my N95. Video podcasts at 640x480 play fine on the N95, but there's no way they will play on my N800.

It seems odd that the phones would have more powerful cpus or video decoder hardware?

it's a bitrate limit. I transcode all my video for it on the fly with mediaserv utility for linux. Video is perfect and not choppy. Can't even tell the quality has been reduced
