Hi

I love my N810. Just started using FBreader and playing puzzle bobble on it..YAY. I also love scribbling down notes on it during lectures (maybe doodling more then note taking :P.... ^.^).

Should I buy a screen protector for my N810 or will the screen be fine with me poking at it.....because I think I see the screen has 2 or maybe 4 scratchers already

Of course, I'd recommend a screen protector. I like the Vikuiti ARMR200 material. It has anti-reflective coating. (Which unfortunately wears off a bit with time.) You can also buy the ones for the 770 or N800. May be cheaper and you just need to cut off 2 mm or so from the left or right edge.

I've had my 770 for over 2 years now with no need for a screen protector. I have one 1cm scuff where the protective cover bent and touched the screen when sliding it off (oh the irony!) but from normal use the screen is fine. It all depends on how heavy you want to use the tablet. If it's daily and doing a lot of onscreen keyboard work, for sure.

Long story short(er), it couldn't hurt. Worse it could do is protect your screen. There are a lot of threads on here as to which is the best, check those for recommendations.

I would definately recommend a screen protector for the n800. I have read posts where people have ruined their n800 within a couple weeks of use. I have cheep one that I picked up from Walmart and after about 2 weeks the screen protector has scratches all over it, can only image what that would do to the actual n800 screen.

BTW, does anybody know where is the skin of the 2008Os come from? I bet it is from the air bubbles upon applying screen protector. I got 2 air bubbles on my N810 and 5 air bubbles on my N800....need more practice.
