is it possible to alter the controls like you could say controls for n810 and n800 as a configuration option so n810 could use the current stylus layout and you could make a and b button of to the side with L and R just a tad bigger but its just a suggestion... im sorry if someones told you this idea already. just wanted to voice my opinion

It's not currently possible. I may include some control configuration in the future but, given very scarce time availability and 4 more uncompleted ports to Maemo, I suggest you do not hold your breath for it.

PS: On the other hand, I have changed the current touch screen joypad layout to a somewhat more reasonable one. It is coming up in the next (official, not beta) release.
