Unless this OS8000 you speak of is truly an OS (and not OS2008), you would be venturing into uncharted territory by attempting to install Palringo on your n800. It is, in a sense, feasible to install Palringo since there appears to be both a mobile java and a linux port, but likely not worth the large amount of effort required, especially when Pidgin, a fantastic IM client is available.

Thanks, but I want use a Push-to-talk program, so I did think that Palringo would be better in that way. Have you another sugestion? The Pidgin can work how PTT?

Although they claim on their download page to support linux... I don't see linux anywhere listed on that page. I can only guess that they expect you to use the java version on linux. While java is runnable on the tablets, it doesn't work very well. Your best bet is probably to look into easy Debian.

Sorry, I don't understand what you're asking. "sis ou sisx"?

[edit] After searching a bit more, they do seem to be working on a linux version at http://blogs.palringo.com/andrew/ . However, it uses QT, which isn't quite standard for the tablets, yet... Anyone care to try compiling?

Ah, I see... Unfortunately, symbian and maemo are very different platforms, so you cannot install symbian applications on your tablet.

@TrueJournals: .sis and .sisx are the file extensions for Symbian application packages; the "ou" was supposed to be "or" I guess.
