I had this problem, but luckily it's easily fixedThere's a file that's been renamed that breaks one of canola's shared libraries. The fix is detailed in this post:

I've attempted to run Canola after installing it from:
http://openbossa.indt.org/canola/install_second.html
After installing, it appears under Extras. When I click it, a pop-up appears reading "Canola - loading". And thats where it ends for me on my N810.
Note that this is my first attempt at using Canola and I did not have a previous version installed.
Wud appreciate advise.
