Is anyone seeing a problem when downloading voices for the 2008 N800 version of the wayfinder software? I just bought the old navicore kit, but had already upgraded to 2008, so I used my key on the wayfinder and it activated. I was able to get the maps downloaded, but now I can't get the voices.
It just pops up a message almost instantly that says "Failed to update voice guidance list" This is when i hit refresh to get the list. Is there a way to manually download the info?

I managed to find all the fixes I've needed on this forum so far(great info here), but this one is nowhere to be found.

I hope it's worth all this effort, I've heard it's rather buggy.

Were you ever able to resolve this issue?

They've been down for a while a few weeks ago. Lots of services didn't work then.

Also, if you formatted your SD card as Ext2 (non-VFAT) then it it CaSe SeNsItIvE. You must then create symlinks, or create a vfat image using dm-loop (see search for kmod) on the SD card, or have the voices already installed.
