I was wondering if there was a way to customize the sounds on my N810. The default beep sound, error sound, charging sound, and even the new mail notification with claws-mail.

I feel like these options should be easily accessible in the settings menu.

I do not know what sound file Claws-mail uses, but the standard systems sounds are in "/usr/share/sounds".

That seems reasonable. I've opened an enhancement request in maemo bugzilla.

EDIT: If you like the idea of customizing event sounds on your tablet, please vote on the bug and add comments there if you have some thoughts you'd like to share.
