i bought a used nokia 770 that came with a separate 2 GB (MMC)
the card looks like this
i believe the memory card is corrupt

if i plug it in via my card reader, it doesn't show up in windows explorer

i've tried partition magic on windows and gparted on linux with no success

i really love my nokia 770 and use 2007 hacked edition

thanks!

Try the (free) Panasonic SD Memory Card Formatting Software.

Perhaps I misunderstand. Using OS2008, have you tried: Utilities>File Manager>(select problem card)>File Manager Menu>Tools>Format Memory Card?

Good luck

The format memory card works for os2008.
If want to stay with os2007. Find a digital camera that takes sdhc cards put it in and let format the card for you. Before os2008 came out that was how i used to format sdhc cards for my N800. Your friendly electronics store has them for demo. Just put your card in and let it format the card for you. Hope this helps, Dan
