While driving around running errands. Everything worked great. Mobile router worked EVDO worked and didn't cause any drops at all. volume ok fair. I am going to rig up a speaker jack though the car stereo's built in phone connection (I hope) so that it should work OK I do worry about the mic.

BTW, it's my first incoming call because I am usually calling out and few folks have my Skype #'s...I mean, I have friends, really I do..and they are REAL too!!!

Then again I could get one of those Borg Implant BT headsets....shuuuuddder...I am resisting...and it is NOT FEW_TILE....never happening to me. Now if you wanna talk Stargate Atlantis cool boom mic and bone conduction comm devices then maybe we can talk. But those Borg devices are just annoying to look at...

Have you looked into a GrandCentral account to ring more than one device from a single number?

geeze, I missed your reply...d;oh!! Anyway, just today learned about Grand Central and put in my reservation request for a local number in my city.

From reading it sounds like the PERFECT phone option. One number that can ring through to multiple locations. I love the idea.

Anyway, many long belated thanks!!

had to google Strogg...nasty fellers for sure. I might be the only person in the world to never play modern video games like Quake...yeah, to me Quake is "modern"... ????

Stroggs are in Quake 2 and Quake 4. Quake 4 is modern; Doom 3 engine and all. Quake 2, actually was quite impressive in 1998. (Quake and Quake 3 bear no (storyline, characters, etc.) relation to Quake 2 and its sequel Quake 4.)

I play (or rather played, when I had time) some Q1, Q2, and lots of Doom (1 and 2), and even a bit of Hexen; the latter 3 via zDaemon, which is a Doom port with modernized networking, and reasonably classic gameplay. I know some about the newer stuff, but don't play it really.
