Quote from Nokia, regarding the so called Nokia Tubes in the new Batman Movie.....

In the summer blockbuster, The Dark Knight, a Nokia device is prominently featured. We worked closely with the producers of The Dark Knight to develop an appropriate device that would suit the technology-savvy character of Batman. The Nokia device used in the film is not a commercial product—at this point.
DO NOT POST ANY SPOILER FROM THE FILM ON THIS THREAD,!!!!!!!!

It has not been released in EU yet so don't feck it for other people......
If it relevant to Tube use the [ SPOILER ] [ /SPOILER] Tags.

You mean I actually have to drag myself out of the sofa and go watch the movie to get an idea of what the N900 is going to be?

Nah, more S60 nonsense.

I would drag your *** out for Batman, though. I hear it's pretty fantastic.

Ah, a smartphone.. I don't care much for smartphones, they're such a bad compromise (to me anyway). Well, I could go and see the movie anyway I guess..

No, its about the Nokia Tube, which is touch, not smartphone.

The "Tube" is a smartphone, just like any other of their S60 handsets...

Hi;

The phone is not used by Batman, but by his R&D guy. It looks like a slightly smaller iPhone, seemed to have the gravity sensor. Was only shown for about 15 seconds. If it has a removable battery, runs *nix, has 802.11 bg and is not locked to a particular carrier, I'd buy one.

I've seen all the Batman movies. Batman Begins and the Dark Knight are the best, but both of them suffer from the same problem. They start out great, not cartoonish, good acting, OK dialog ... but about 2/3 of the way through, they degenerate into sillyness riddled with plot holes.

I rated it C+ or B-, better than Batman Begins, mostly due to the excellent acting job by Ledger. I can see why the role drove him over the edge. Up to the 2/3 inflection point, I was ready to give it an A- . (I'm a tough critic).

BTW, I preferred Katie Holmes as Rachel in the first one.

Hmmm I didn't like Rachel in either movie :P

and I really loved Dark Knight. I do agree, the plot was hard to keep track of, but I've always been fond of movies that really make you think and work hard to keep up. Dunno, just a personal preference

And Ledger did an absolutely astounding job

I'd give it an A or an A+

And the "Tube" looked like a really slick phone.
