The youtube plug-in seems fully functional except I when search for the my saved FLV files. I can play them with MPlayer, but they are invisible to Canola. I've marked the folders and refreshed the libraries. The folders appear when I navigate to the by folder menu, but there are "no items found". Not any of the saved youtube plug in files nor any other FLV files I have saved otherwise. All is well as far as MP4 files.

I've tried re-installing. Last time with the clean up tool.

What could be the problem? I've done a fair amout of combing through the threads, but to no avail. I'll happily appreciate direction to a post I may have overlooked or misunderstood. Anything I'm missing?

I am not an expert, but I remember it had to do with the scanner (LMS) code which needs an update to 'catch' the .flv files.

Well, it's somewhere in some thread

but here goes again:

a. there's no flv support on the scanner. Is already on our garage version, and integrated on beta9. To watch them now, scroll youtube list to the "Local videos".

b. it's not a problem, it's time related out-of-release feature.

No you not missing anything
