Does anyone know of a Media Player roundup list, table or matrix please.

As I am finding out, there are quite a few Media players for the N8x0, and I am finding it confusing as to which one does what, and which one is best for one thing but not for another (eg. is Canola best for Youtube, or does another app perform better? Which player handles mpegs best etc. etc?).

I have searched the ITT Forum and looked at the Wiki but can't find any comprehensive, 'all-in-one-place' info.

Thanks.

P.S. At the rate I'm going I'll have enough posts to be a 'Senior Member' soon and I'll still be asking questions not answering them :-/

since i was going to post a question about this anyway, here's the players that i've found. if anyone can recommend a player that does what i want, i'm all ears.

canola, kugu, ukmp, kilikali, xmms, mplayer, default player.

what i'm looking for (and players that can do this):
1. the ability to open a directory, and play all the files in that directory (xmms, default player, canola)
2. the ability to seek within a file using hardware buttons (xmms, kagu, ukmp). it would be nice if it also had a thumbable on screen slider (canola)
3. equalizer--this isn't a dealbreaker for now--only xmms
4. resume playing where i left off when i close/open the program. i can't find any that do this.
5. big on screen display of important things, ie playlist, what's playing now, and time played/remaining in track. (canola, xmms--kind of) i really don't care about album art, although it seems easy enough that you should be able to turn it on/off as an option.

i can't really figure out ukmp; how to open media, settings, etc--is there any documentation anywhere?
