I installed StarDict yesterday and pretty happy with it. However, when I closed the program and tried to restart it again, it wouldn't load. I can see very high CPU usage by StarDict but after a while the process disappeared. I looked at my dictionary folder under /media/mmc1/stardict/dic/ and found that two .oft files have been generated. I deleted those two files and StarDict worked again!

I just wonder if there is a better solution for this problem. I'm not going to delete those files every time.

I use something called Sdict Viewer and don't have to delete anything.

Yes, I used that before. But I think StarDict is way better than Sdict, except for this small issue.

This happens every time you use StarDict? I don't remember having heard of this problem before, and I have tried it also.

Yes, for me only the first time (before the oft files are created) worked. After that StarDict never load up if the oft files are there. BTW, I have the latest firmware for N810 and just installed StarDict from the repository yesterday.
