Hi all,
I'm starting to discover my wonderful new N800, and I need a decent memory card.

I'd like to know if the SanDisk MicroSDHC 8GB with the Transflash adapter (see http://i10.ebayimg.com/01/i/000/f8/ec/87ab_2.JPG for an example) are compatible with N800 (just reflashed with Diablo).
The card has the SDHC logo but not the Class [246] logo which from what I've read all around should be mandatory.

Any suggestion? I can buy such a card for 32 EURO.

TIA.
Regards,
luca

I don't have one but I don't see why it does not work with the N800.

It should work.

My understanding is that the "CLASS [246]" stuff is simply the speed rating of the device. It means [2] MB/s, [4] MB/s and so on, Minimum Write speed. The SDHC (and done right) is the important part. I've heard that there are a lot of SD cards floating around that are re-branded counterfeits. To be safe, you might want to buy from an established dealer.

For example, I recently purchased an 8GB mini-SDHC from NewEgg:

www.newegg.com/Product Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220295

For $32 USD and it works great in my N810

Yeah, if it's on eBay and from Hong Kong, I'd be careful.

Finally I bought a Kingston 8GB micro SDHC Class6 and it works like a charm as internal MMC.
Now next step is to expand my root ;-)

Thanks.
