according to verizon's tos you cannot tether without paying for the privlege. once you enable the service with verizon then it is a simple matter of pairing your phone and following the on screen prompts for a new data connection. i no longer have a 770 so i do not remember all the steps but as i remember there are some posts on this forum that outline the procedure. howardforums has taken all the tethering posts off their site and have banned members (albeit temporarily) for discussing how to tether without paying for gthe service. google may be your friend
