Have you installed the vnc server package on the N810 and started it?? You would then use a vnc viewer client on the desktop machine to access the N810 by IP.. (I think it's x11vnc)...

For vnc, it dose need a server on N810, but for rdesktop, i don't think it's necessary, so how can i use rdesktop to connect to N810 from pc? Thanks million.

As far as I know, there is no RDP server for the N8x0. Maybe XRDP was ported or something, but that works by looping a VNC connection and weird stuff like that (aka it would kill the processor on the already overtaxed n8x0). So, like fatalsaint said, use x11vnc for vnc.
X-forwarding via SSH (it seems you can already SSH from your debian box) does not seem to work with OS2008, but i have heard it works on debian running on the n8x0.

X-Forwarding doesn't work?? Are you sure?? I was quite positive Qole or someone got it to work...

If you already want to use SSH + X, might as well use NXserver (FreeNX). Not that much more overhead.
I just want to connect to N810 with GUI from a pc with debian, rdesktop or vnc for instance, but i always get tip of 'connection refused'. i've connected to N810 by ssh and now i want GUI. How can i do this? Thanks.
