My N800 stopped finding wifi access points. I reflashed the most recent OS2007 but this didn't fix the problem. Bluetooth tethering works. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks.

I just had the same thing happen to me. It worked before I put a screen protector on and stopped after. Bluetooth works on mine as well.

I haven't a clue why this is happening, but I'm going to attempt to give a 'stock' answer to this from my [somewhat limited] experience here...

when you flashed your device to your current OS of choice, did you restore your data from a backup? If so, that might be the culprit. Try and reflash and don't restore a backup and see if that fixes the problem.

If it doesn't, I'm out of ideas, but I hope that helps.

thank you for your help, but i had flashed my N800 without restoring any thing ( OS2008 chinook and diablo ), the wifi scanner d'ont detect any thing, so i suspect that the wifi hardware stop working, but how can i confirm this ?

It happened to me once. Before I re-flashed my N800 I put it in offline mode; then afer reflashing it could not connect to the wifi.

I went in and deleted all wifi info ( don't remember exactly which files i deleted...) but then after that re-connect, entered WEP key,.... Everything worked again.

Good luck!
