I am using an n800 with os 2008. I have a Dlink wireless router, which works fine with two different laptops. The router is set up with WPA security with pre-shared key. Yet when I try to use the NIT, "select connection" can find the signal, good signal strength, but when I enter the pre-shared key, all it does is ask for the key again, and again, and again, never getting in. This same key works fine with the laptops we have. Any ideas?

So, everyone stumpted, eh? Well at least I have the satisfaction of knowing I suffer from really advanced problems.

Is the key hexadecimal or ASCII? How many characters long is it?

8 characters in ASCII. Why, would that make a difference?

A few people have run into trouble with overly long ASCII passphrases, but eight characters? That should be no problem.
