I was getting the Nokia Screen freeze at power on and followed the advice to re-flash my N810. I took the Diablo 2008 as the latest version of OS2008 using the Nokia software update wizard. This worked fine and overcame the freezing, but now I can't see either the internal or external memory cards when viewing with File Manager. When connecting to a PC using USB, the F and G drives show but when I try to open them I get the message "Please insert a drive into disk <x>". Also when I first connect the USB cable, the IT shows the message "Unable to connect via USB. No memory card inserted". If I remove the external SD card (8Gb) and connect it to the PC using the SD carrier, I can see all the files ok, so I presume it's not corrupted. I don't know Linux, so can anyone please tell me how I can get the IT to re-mount the two cards, or if this is caused by some other bug? Thanks.

Maybe a corrupt filesystem? Try formatting it in File manager if you can, else you'll need to use mkfs from the terminal.

Thanks for the reply. The IT can't see the cards to format them and mkfs isn't a recognised command from the terminal (my lack of Linux knowledge showing through). I decided to re-flash again, first with a previous version and then again with the latest Diablo. It worked this time, picking up both cards. Must have been a blip in the system. Thanks again.
