I haven't seen this posted, so I'll pass it on. I'm using WEP on my wireless router (A D-Link; I know WPA is better, but we have some older laptops that don't support WPA). I've been able to connect my 770 since I got it. I just upgraded to the 2006 OS. I re-entered all of my old settings. I got the icon that I was connected to my network, but I couldn't connect to any web pages. After MUCH trial and error I discovered that I had to change my WEP setting from "open system" (where it had been forever) to "share key". After that I was able to connect to my router AND actually download web pages.
