Hi,

I just bought a CA-100 USB charger and when I plug it into my USB socket on the computer, and hook it up to my N810 it does not work. There is a notification by my Advanced Power applet saying Battery is charging, but there is no increase of battery percentage.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

I will be grateful for any help, thanks,

That depends on the computer used. I have a computer that charges only up to about 85%, and another that charges up to about 65%. (Not using CA-100, but a generic USB cable from ebay. I don't know if CA-100 does any voltage conversion.)

Well, it charged a little bit up to 83.4%, and it's been like that for a good hour or so.

I will try another USB port and see what happens. Thank you,

CA-100, AFAIK, is just wires and a resistor; cheap knockoffs are just wires. Apparently one of these is supposed to help: https://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2649

I don't know if mine is a cheap knockoff, everything looks OK, and it came with original "instruction sheet" and packaging.

So, you're saying I have to buy one of those to make my charger work. Bah.

84.1% now.

Let's see if it goes up to 85% and stops working.
