Hey.

I have no tried a little while to get my N810 Internet to work via usb to PC.

I have the USBnet installed on the tablet, but that aint where the problem is. I need an INF file and a RNDIS driver to my Windows Server 2008 X64 OS. Its just like Vista X64, so dont care about that. I tried with the 1973 OM RNDS INF file and the Intel one, and I tried to configure them manually to get the right Class USB ID, but this is as far as I gets.

Please help me, I have no WLAN in my house :P

I'm not exactly sure the status on this stuff. But with some versions of Windows, it just doesn't work, and almost no-one gets it to work.

Options include setting up PPP over USB-serial or getting a compatible USB ethernet dongle and hooking that up.

Wireless routers aren't very expensive, or is there a reason you can't use one that I don't understand?

Im going to buy one, but I dont know when and which yet, so it would be great to get some net on the tablet.

Thank you for your help.
Im looking into it when I have time.

Im guessing that it would be really nice to have internet over the PC USB or bluetooth , in places where there is iinternet but no wireless....for example, in an internet cafe, or a computers lab in university. Might be worth the try.

there are other places where a wired connection is the only option (e.g. some work environments where wireless either isn't available, not permitted not for non-approved devices, or the tablet isnt compatible with the wireless encryption used). I've searched, but ultimately gave up being unable to find a simple solution. Ultimately a bluetooth PAN based connection would work best, at least in my work environment).
